Hoa Phat Steel Sheet Co., Ltd., part of Vietnam’s largest steelmaker Hoa Phat Group, has signed a new contract with The Bronx Group for the supply of a state-of-the-art 120 m/min colour coating line (CCL).
The line will be installed at Pho Noi A Industrial Zone in Hung Yen Province, further strengthening Hoa Phat’s position in Vietnam’s coated steel market. It will be the company’s second Bronx line, following the successful commissioning of its first unit in 2018.
Designed for high efficiency and sustainability, the new CCL can process 25-ton coils up to 1 mm thick and will deliver an annual capacity of 120,000-130,000 tons. Installation and commissioning will be overseen by Bronx specialists to ensure optimal safety, precision, and performance.
As Southeast Asia’s largest steel producer, Hoa Phat aims to raise its annual capacity to 16 mln tons by 2026, including 9 mln tons of HRC and wire rod to meet domestic and export demand.
