Turkey’s construction sector confidence index declined by 5.3pct in October 2025 to 83.7, compared to the previous month, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In contrast, the retail trade sector recorded a 3.7pct rise in confidence, reaching 113.2, while the services sector index slipped slightly by 0.3pct to 110.7.
TUIK’s indices, measured on a scale of 0 to 200, reflect industry sentiment, with readings above 100 indicating optimism and those below 100 showing pessimism.
