Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has reduced its rebar prices, according to the company’s latest price list.
The new price for 12-32 mm rebar is set at TRY 20,700 (USD 540) per ton ex-works, down from TRY 21,165 (USD 556) per ton on March 16, 2025, based on an exchange rate of TRY 38 per USD.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
