Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has announced updated prices for its long steel products.
The price of 12-32 mm rebar has been increased to TRY 21,165 (USD 556) per ton ex-works, up from TRY 20,875 (USD 570) per ton set on March 12, 2025, when the exchange rate was TRY 36.5 per USD.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
