Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has signed a strategic agreement with McKinsey & Company India LLP to accelerate its digital transformation and enhance operational efficiency.
The partnership will leverage AI, cloud computing, and data analytics to modernize processes from mining to marketing, while ensuring safety and compliance. By adopting advanced digital solutions, SAIL aims to optimize business operations and enhance customer experience.
The three-year initiative targets an annual value realization of INR 1,000 crore (USD 116.6 mln), reinforcing SAIL’s commitment to innovation and long-term growth, according to the company’s statement.
