Zamil Steel Egypt, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Building Industries Company (SENAAT), has supplied and erected more than 10,000 tons of structural steel and pre-engineered buildings for a maintenance depot serving Egypt’s high-speed electric train network.
The company worked on the project in collaboration with Orascom Construction. Its scope covers an area of approximately 100,000 square meters and includes steel structures for the train maintenance, operation and control facilities.
The project is part of Egypt’s development of its high-speed rail infrastructure and is intended to serve as a major maintenance and operations center for the network.
