Turkey’s crude steel production rose 10pct YoY to 3.31 mln tons in November 2025, according to data from the Turkish Steel Producers’ Association (TCUD).
Billet production increased 9.4pct to 2.09 mln tons, while slab output climbed 11.1pct to 1.22 mln tons during the month.
Over the January-November period, Turkey’s crude steel production reached 34.6 mln tons, up 2pct compared with the same period last year. Billet production rose 5pct, while slab production declined 3pct.
TCUD data showed that electric arc furnaces accounted for 72.2pct of total crude steel output during the eleven-month period, with the remaining 27.8pct produced via blast furnaces.
