EMSTEEL deepens collaboration with real-estate developers

EMSTEEL has expanded cooperation with Emirati real estate developers by signing a strategic memorandum of understanding with MERED to evaluate and deploy high-strength reinforcement steel in property developments. The agreement sets a framework to pilot advanced steel solutions aimed at improving structural efficiency while supporting sustainable construction practices.

This marks EMSTEEL’s second such partnership, following a recent MoU with Modon focused on innovative, high-yield materials for future projects.

The agreements were signed during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, where EMSTEEL also received the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Diamond Sustainability Label, the highest recognition under its inaugural Sustainability Label Programme.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, EMSTEEL has a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons of steel and 4.6 mln tons of cement annually. The group exports to over 70 markets, accounting for 30pct of its sales. The company offers a diverse range of steel products, including wire rod, rebar, heavy sections, and sheet piles.
