EMSTEEL, Metal Park ink cooperation deal to strengthen local value chains

EMSTEEL has signed a cooperation agreement with Metal Park, reinforcing its focus on supporting downstream industries, local manufacturing and long-term industrial development in the UAE.

The agreement was signed during the official inauguration of Metal Park’s production hub at KEZAD on 20 January 2026, according to an official announcement. The partnership is aimed at strengthening integration between upstream steel production and downstream manufacturing through reliable material supply, technical cooperation and long-term industrial planning.

EMSTEEL said the collaboration aligns with its strategy to strengthen local value chains and enable industrial clusters, supporting Abu Dhabi’s broader metals and manufacturing ecosystem.

Metal Park at KIZAD, Abu Dhabi, is an integrated industrial ecosystem for the metals sector, offering advanced storage, processing and fabrication facilities under a pay-as-you-go model, with direct connectivity to Khalifa Port and Etihad Rail. Its storage hub, launched in 2025, offers on-demand warehousing for metals, helping manufacturers reduce logistics and inventory costs.

Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, EMSTEEL has a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons of steel and 4.6 mln tons of cement annually. The group exports to over 70 markets, accounting for 30pct of its sales. The company offers a diverse range of steel products, including wire rod, rebar, heavy sections, and sheet piles.
