Tenaris opens new service center in Barrancabermeja

Tenaris has inaugurated a new service center in Barrancabermeja, Santander, strengthening its service footprint and support capabilities for oil and gas operators in Colombia.

The facility spans 35,000 square metres and offers storage capacity of around 6,000 tons for pipes and sucker rods. It also includes administrative offices, an OCTG inspection line, and an accessories warehouse, designed to enhance operational efficiency and customer support.

Strategically located along the Vía Nacional highway, the center provides improved logistics access to more than 20 oil and gas fields across the Middle Magdalena Valley, Arauca-Cano Limon area, and the Putumayo Basin.

Tenaris operates an integrated global manufacturing network across 17 countries, covering steelmaking, pipe rolling and forming, heat treatment, threading, and finishing. Tenaris has a total annual production capacity of 8.7 mln tons of seamless and welded steel pipes.
