EMSTEEL, the UAE’s largest steel and building materials producer, has sold its non-core Anabeeb division to Khansaheb Group, as part of a strategy to streamline its portfolio and focus on core operations.
The transaction covers Anabeeb’s PVC pipe, GRP pipe and bag manufacturing units, including its end-to-end industrial pipe capabilities. Anabeeb operates a production facility specializing in CC-GRP pipes, PVC-U pipes and fittings, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 33,000 tons.
EMSTEEL said the divestment supports its objective of optimizing its business portfolio and accelerating value creation by concentrating on its core steel and building materials segments.
Khansaheb said the acquisition strengthens its ability to deliver fully integrated infrastructure solutions, combining manufacturing with its construction, engineering and facilities management services.
Commenting on the transaction, EMSTEEL Group CEO Eng. Saeed Ghumran Al Remeithi said the move reflects the group’s focus on core industrial priorities and expressed confidence that Anabeeb will continue to grow under Khansaheb’s ownership.
