EBS wins structural steel contract for cultural complex project in Oman

Emirates Building Systems (EBS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments PJSC, has secured a major contract to deliver the complete structural steel package for the Sayyid Tarik Bin Taimur Cultural Complex, one of Oman’s largest upcoming cultural developments.

Under the 50,000 m2 scope, EBS will execute detailed engineering, specialized fabrication, on-site erection and advanced fireproofing works. The package includes complex long-span steel structures for theatre halls, public atria and culturally significant spaces, requiring high levels of precision, safety compliance and structural performance.

The project’s main contractor, the SAH-SML Joint Venture (Saif Al Harasi – Sembol Construction JV), selected EBS based on its technical expertise and track record in delivering complex, multidisciplinary steel projects.

Founded in 1997, EBS specializes in designing, fabricating, and erecting high-quality steel structures. With an annual production capacity exceeding 75,000 tons, its portfolio includes hot-rolled structures for industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, bridges, built-up sections, and pre-engineered buildings.
