Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has launched a new billet sales round, lowering prices by USD 5 per ton compared with its previous offers issued on January 7, 2026.
Under the latest offer, the company’s S235JR billets are offered at USD 495 per ton EXW, while B420 billets are offered at USD 505 per ton EXW.
Market sources said the mill concluded the sales round after securing order volumes of around 50,000 tons.
Established in 1937, Kardemir is a key player in Turkey’s steel industry, with a 3.5 mln tons annual production capacity. The company manufactures billets, blooms, rebars, profiles and other steel products at its Karabuk-based facilities.
