Turkey exported 907,300 tons of wire rod in 2025, down nearly 1.4pct YoY from 919,900 tons in 2024, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Romania remained the largest destination, absorbing 306,800 tons, followed by Bulgaria with 77,000 tons and Australia with 70,900 tons.
In December 2025, Turkey’s wire rod exports stood at 77,500 tons, down 39pct YoY but up 25pct compared with the previous month.
