Turkey imported 3.9 mln tons of HRC in 2025, up 8pct YoY, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
China remained the largest supplier, accounting for 1.36 mln tons, followed by Russia with 919,000 tons, Egypt at 439,000 tons, and South Korea supplying 372,500 tons.
In December 2025, Turkey’s HRC imports fell sharply to 255,400 tons, down 17pct YoY and nearly 36pct compared with the previous month.
