Interpipe has supplied railway wheels for high-speed passenger trains in Turkey, the company said in a press release.
The company delivered 850 mm railway wheels for the HT 65000 high-speed trains, which operate at speeds of up to 250 km/h. The trains are used by Yuksek Hizli Tren (YHT), Turkey’s flagship high-speed rail service, which connects major cities across both western and eastern regions of the country.
For the order, Interpipe used ER8 steel (Category 1), specifically designed for high-speed rail applications. The wheels were produced with a tightly controlled rim hardness range to meet stringent quality and performance standards.
Interpipe is a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine. Its products are supplied to more than 50 countries through sales offices in key markets across Europe, North America and the Middle East. In 2025, the company delivered 470,000 tons of pipes and 89,000 tons of railway products, which are marketed under the KLW brand.
