EMSTEEL, the UAE’s largest steel and building materials producer, said its operations continue to run normally across its steel, cement and block facilities in Abu Dhabi, Al Mafreq and Al Ain, despite the ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
The company stated that production, logistics and supply chain activities remain in line with current production plans, supported by sufficient raw material inventories. As a result, EMSTEEL continues to supply the UAE market according to demand.
The group also noted that its financial position remains stable, with continued oversight across its business segments.
The statement comes as the Middle East faces rising military tensions, following coordinated U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran that began on February 28, which have disrupted regional logistics, energy markets and industrial activity.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, EMSTEEL has an annual production capacity of 3.5 mln tons of steel and 4.6 mln tons of cement. Its steel segment, Emirates Steel, produces wire rod, rebar, heavy sections and sheet piles.
