Saudi steel manufacturer Al Yamamah Steel Industries has signed two contracts worth a combined SAR 254.28 mln (USD 67.8 mln) with Algihaz Contracting to supply steel towers for a 380 kV extra-high-voltage transmission line project in Saudi Arabia’s Western Region.
The first contract is valued at SAR 135.65 mln (USD 36.2 mln), while the second is worth SAR 118.63 mln (USD 31.6 mln). Both contracts have a duration of one year.
The contracts were awarded and signed on October 5, with supply scheduled to begin in March 2027. The financial impact is expected to be reflected in the first quarter of 2027.
Al Yamamah Steel specializes in the manufacturing and sale of a variety of products including welded tubes, sheets, rebars, and three-dimensional space structures, primarily serving the buildings and infrastructure sector. The company also produces galvanized steel lighting and distribution poles, high mast structures, and galvanized steel lattice towers for the electrical and distribution industry. Its production facilities are strategically located in Jeddah, Dammam, and Yanbu.
