Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has reduced its rebar prices in its latest update.
The company is now offering 12-32 mm rebar at TRY 19,850 (USD 570) per ton EXW, down from the previous price of TRY 20,415 (USD 591) per ton EXW set on November 20, 2024. The pricing is based on an exchange rate of TRY 34.5 per USD.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
