Kardemir unveils sales allocation plan for Q1 2025

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has announced its sales allocation plan for the first quarter of 2025. The company plans to reduce allocations for billets and rebar compared to the previous quarter, while increasing allocations for wire rod and profiles.

According to an official statement, Kardemir will allocate 194,000 tons of billets, 156,000 tons of rebar, 134,000 tons of wire rod, and 101,000 tons of profiles in Q1 2025. As part of its policy, the company reserves 30pct of its production for shareholders, granting them preferential purchasing rights.

Karabuk Demir Celik (Kardemir) was established in 1938 as a state owned company and Turkey’s first integrated steel producer. In 1995, the company was privatized. It offers steel products, such as blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products.
