Qatar’s Aamal Company Q.P.S.C., a leading diversified firm in the region, has announced that its board of directors has approved an increase in its stake in Frijns Structural Steel Middle East by acquiring an additional 20pct shareholding from a related party.
This move aligns with Aamal’s growth strategy to strengthen its position in the industrial manufacturing sector, according to a company press release.
Currently, Aamal holds a 20pct stake in Frijns Structural Steel. With the additional acquisition, its total ownership will rise to 40pct. The deal was based on an independent valuation to ensure transparency and fairness for all parties involved.
Frijns Structural Steel Middle East is a leading steelwork fabrication and installation company in Qatar, with an annual production capacity of 24,000 tons.
