Egyptian long steel producer El Marakby Steel has received technical approval for rebar exports to Brazil from the Falcao Bauer Quality Institute, the company announced in a statement.
The certification confirms El Marakby Steel’s ability to produce steel rebar in various grades ranging from 6.3mm to 32mm while adhering to the ABNT NBR 7480:2007 quality standards, the company noted.
Established in 2006 in 6th of October city, Egypt, El Marakby Steel has an annual production capacity of 350,000 tons of billet, 700,000 tons of rebar, and 400,000 tons of wire rod.
