China’s Ansteel Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with German equipment supplier SMS Group, reaffirming their commitment to advancing “dual-carbon” initiatives focused on achieving carbon peak and neutrality goals. The collaboration aims to drive innovation in green steel technologies, supporting the sustainable development of the global steel industry, according to Ansteel’s statement.
The MoU was signed by Ansteel’s Strategic Planning Department head and Peter Langner, President and CEO of SMS Group China. This partnership emphasizes collaboration on products, technologies, and projects to promote low-carbon development and ecological operations.
