APL Apollo Tubes Company LLC, the UAE-based subsidiary of APL Apollo Tubes Limited, has obtained Steel Sustainability Australia (SSA) certification for the 2025-2026 cycle, the company announced.
The SSA program identifies sustainably produced steel within the construction supply chain. APL Apollo said the certification underscores its commitment to global compliance, environmental responsibility, and high-quality manufacturing. The certification, L1 (V1.5), is valid until 10 December 2026 for the company’s facility in Umm Al Quwain.
The achievement will allow APL Apollo to access the Australian construction market, particularly projects that require sustainably sourced materials.
APL Apollo’s Umm Al Quwain facility has an annual production capacity of more than 400,000 tons and manufactures ERW pipes, structural steel tubes, and hollow sections.
