Turkey imported 8.37 mln tons of iron ore in the first ten months of 2025, a 5pct decline from the same period last year, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Brazil remained the country’s leading supplier with approximately 5.5 mln tons, followed by Sweden at 660,700 tons and Uzbekistan at 593,500 tons.
In October, iron ore imports rose 21pct YoY to 809,700 tons but were down 17pct compared with the previous month.
