Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has launched a new billet sales round, lowering prices by USD 10 per ton compared with its previous offers issued on November 27, 2025.
Under the latest offer, Kardemir is pricing S235JR billets at USD 505 per ton EXW, while B420 billets are offered at USD 515 per ton EXW. Market sources said the mill closed sales after placing sizeable volumes.
Established in 1937, Kardemir is a key player in Turkey’s steel industry, with a 3.5 mln tons annual production capacity. The company manufactures billets, blooms, rebars, profiles and other steel products at its Karabuk-based facilities.
